Publicity & Social Media

We want to tell a better story about classical music.

On their own, publicity, social media, branding or marketing no longer have a meaningful impact - it’s only when they're combined in a cohesive, coordinated fashion that you start to get real results.

Our uniquely integrated, holistic and proactive approach has brought us to some of the biggest artists in the world, and we'll never stop exploring new ways to tell their stories.

Consulting

We're here to guide you through it all.

Not everyone needs full-scale publicity campaigns. We offer affordable hourly consulting that can help to gain clarity, refine strategy, learn best practices, or just ask those burning questions you have about the industry...

Websites

You need a website.
We can help.

Everyone needs a beautiful website, but not everyone can build one themselves, or afford to pay the inflated prices that some developers charge.

We create beautiful, functional, affordable artist websites that meet any budget.

Andrew Ousley
Founder & President

Andrew Ousley spent a decade at the top of the classical record industry before forming Unison in 2015 and rapidly establishing it as one of the top PR/Marketing companies for classical music, opera and the performing arts. He also founded the acclaimed non-profit Death of Classical, where he presents classical music and opera performances in a Crypt in Harlem and a Catacomb in Brooklyn. In his nonexistent spare time, he also runs Burger Club.

Mackenzie Horne
Director of Publicity

Mackenzie is known far and wide for her golden quill and rapier wit, which she's used to craft Shakespeare-level narratives for clients ranging from cutting-edge jazz musicians to some of Pittsburgh's hottest restaurants. Now she's using her gifts to tell a powerful and purposeful story about artists and their musical vision. Also fun fact - she grew up next to an emu farm... ask her about it!

Bonnie Bee
Director of Culture & Operations

Bonnie was the first member of Team Unison back in 2015 when we formed, working alongside Andrew to build the company from a dream and a vision, into one of the leading Performing Arts PR, Marketing, and Branding agencies in the world. She returned to her native Singapore for a spell, managing development and sponsorships for The Esplanade (their equivalent of Lincoln Center), before returning triumphantly to Unison as our Director of Operations. Now, she uses her brilliant organizational mind and business acumen to keep our company on the cutting edge of excellence, ensuring that we deliver ever-greater results for all of our clients.

Tru Pierone
Publicity & Marketing Account Manager

Tru comes to Unison following an internship at our sister nonprofit organization Death of Classical, where she used her social media prowess to fling magnificent missives from the Catacombs to the Interwebs, sharing our subterranean exploits far and wide. She now brings that deep savvy of all things social to the team at Unison, working with some of our top clients to cultivate their online followings and tell their stories. Other fun facts: she's a sensational soprano, a radio DJ, and an expert in Artisanal Ramen.

Aurora Cady
Assistant to the President

Aurora helps keep our fearless leader, Andrew Ousley, from plunging into the depths of madness - a daily worry here at Unison. Her cool, calm demeanor, and her laser-like effectiveness, help ensure that every member of the team is working at the highest level.

Nicholas Huff
Websites Creation Coordinator

Don't let his immaculately-manicured facial hair fool you - Nick Huff is a wild, untamable force of nature... whether tearing up opera stages with lyric tenor voice that's been called an instrument of "vocal and dramatic fearlessness,” or wielding his undeniable intellect and boundless Midwestern charm in his work with Unison's website and social media clients, Nick never fails to deliver the goods.

Kwing Herrero
Website Creation Manager

Kwing (who also goes by "Jonathan", though we prefer his nickname!) is the man with the plan when it comes to our flourishing website-building wing. He works tirelessly to create gorgeous, functional, affordable, shiny new sites for artists of all stripes. He's like the Picasso of the pixel, the Michelangelo of HTML...
